Natasha Major is analog photographer based in Somerville, MA with deep roots in the Midwest.

 

Major views her photographs as constant reactions to her surroundings, cementing a connection between inner and outer experience. She is interested in creating  images and associations that illuminate and challenge our connection to the visual world and to photography. 

 

The constant shifting of the visual world and the decisive physicality of the analog medium act as pillars to her approach to creating.

Major received an MFA from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
